 The Bible and Archaeology

Can they live together?

In recent years the Bible has been under increasing assault by new approaches in archaeological research claiming that Scripture does not truly reflect historical reality. Other scholars claim that, on the contrary, the archaeological finds in fact support the Biblical narrative.

This fascinating lecture presents the stormy debate between these two views, and helps you understand the dialogue between the Bible and archaeology: Can they coexist?

The lecture will lay out the claims of each side in light of more than 150 years of archaeological research, emphasizing new finds uncovered in the City of David and elsewhere in the Land of Israel.

The lecture is accompanied by a presentation that incorporates animation and film clips.
