This lecture will take you on a journey through divided Jerusalem after the War of Independence to united Jerusalem after the Six-Day War. You’ll discover how the two are related to the city’s past – in the time of King David and the time of the destruction. You’ll follow in the footsteps of the Jerusalem Brigade, the Paratroop Brigade and the Harel Brigade.
The lecture incorporates documents, films and recordings from the time of the battles over Jerusalem.
